To disable Windows Aero for a short period, follow the 8-step procedure below. Find the program launcher and click on its right side. Select “Properties” and wait until the window loads. To disable Aero Peek, you must first go to the Performance Options window in Control Panel. Double-click on the Aero Peek option and choose “Disable” to turn off the feature.
