If you are looking for a way to disable touch screen while watching YouTube on Android, then you have come to the right place. There are two ways to do this. You can either disable the touch screen completely, or you can disable interaction controls. This will prevent you from unlocking the screen while you are watching a YouTube video.
Passcode or interaction controls prevent the screen from being unlocked while watching a YouTube video
You can disable the touchscreen to prevent others from unlocking your screen while watching YouTube videos on Android. This can be done through the Settings menu or Pocket Mode setting. The easiest way to do this is to install Touch Lock. This third-party application allows you to lock the screen whenever the phone is placed in your pocket.
To enable this feature, open the Settings app and then go to Biometrics and Security. Once in the Biometrics and Security section, press the lock icon. On Samsung devices, you can also find this feature in the Other Security Settings menu.
The YouTube app will pause playback when the phone is locked. If you’re a Premium subscriber, you can turn on background play. If not, you’ll have to close the app and reopen it. Alternatively, you can use a third-party app called MiniTube to enable background play.

If you don’t have YouTube Premium, you can install the Chrome browser to watch YouTube videos on your Android device. Chrome also supports picture-in-picture. If you want to view YouTube videos on your iPhone, you can install the app Dolphin on your device. While you’re using YouTube, it will pause the video if you exit the app. This can be frustrating if you’re trying to make a phone call while watching YouTube. If you’d like to continue watching videos while you’re listening to music or reading a text message, you can enable background play while you watch it.

Disable touch screen
If you are not comfortable with using your touch screen while watching YouTube videos on your Android device, you can disable it. You can do this in the advanced settings of your device. There is also a setting that lets you lock your screen while watching YouTube. Go to the account settings of your YouTube app and find the screen lock option under privacy & security.
Touch Lock is a third-party app that will disable your Android touchscreen when you cover it with an object. This feature can be enabled in the Settings menu, and may require that you install the app separately. This is the easiest way to lock the touchscreen on your Android device. It also has an option to lock the whole phone.
