If you have a PS5 controller, you may be wondering how to disable the microphone. There are two ways to do this. Firstly, you need to turn off the light. Once this is done, you should then navigate to the Sound and Mic menu and select the Muting option.
Muting the DualSense microphone
To mute the microphone on the PS5 controller, press the mute button. The button is located below the PlayStation button and will glow orange when pressed.
